Social Media Co-ordinator
Snug As A Bug is a Made in Canada manufacturer and curator of goods geared to making busy parent’s lives easier. We are a small team who are dedicated to communicating this message through our online store, website and social platforms. We are looking for a new team member to work mainly within the social platforms connecting our products, mission and customers.
24 hours per week
Social Media Duties Include
- A good understanding of Instagram and Facebook and best practices
- Be able to come up with and execute Instagram stories
- Write interesting and helpful content to support the posts
- A good eye for colour coordination to create graphics in Canva
- Monitor engagement and suggest areas to improve
- You will work at the store to be hands on in seeing the product arrive and hear customer feedback to guide your strategy
Skills and who this role is best suited for:
- This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys helping others by identifying needs and solving their issues with product suggestions
- Wants to work in a small business environment and grow with the company
- Good communication and writing skills
- 1-2 years of managing social media for a brand
- Retail experience is a plus
Future opportunities:
- Be involved in creating marketing emails
- Work on Facebook marketing to find new customers
