About Us (me)

Welcome to my brand new Snug as a Bug relaunch! From 1992-2023 I designed kids clothing, sun hats and what most people know me for – Family Onesies. I decided to take a year-ish off, slow down, pursue other interests and see where the universe sent me. I have been fostering cats, gardening, home renos the list goes on. I started sewing for my own home and that lead me to re-launch called Snug as a Bug_home. I’m so glad you are here!I started making cozy sewn planters, like clothes for your plants! Cozy luxury emerged as a theme and every time I put my hands around one of my plants – I feel calmer.

After showing to friends, they suggested that I add in coordinated items making it easy to design your live/work space. It is more important than ever to have a space that you love, that brings you joy and slows your heart.

Everything on my site is 100% functional, designed by me and sewn by the same talented sewists as before (in Toronto Canada). Liz Heyland
